Hi, I’m Juliette Golden

Juliette Golden's journey with the cello began at the age of 10, sparking a lifelong passion for music. Throughout her formative years, Juliette immersed herself in music, participating in quartets and competitions while being an active member of the Colorado Youth Symphony Association. Following high school, Juliette founded a string orchestra at Peyton Elementary School and began offering private lessons to aspiring young string players.

Juliette's dedication to the cello has led to numerous performance opportunities, including engagements at esteemed events such as the Veterans Breakfast in Calhan and Miramont Castle in Manitou Springs. Currently, Juliette is an esteemed member of The New Horizons Band of Colorado Springs, where she contributes her talents to the Concert Strings Orchestra, Cello Choir, and Symphonic Strings under the guidance of Ms. Linda Johnson.

Inspired by the Suzuki method, Juliette embraces a holistic approach to string playing, emphasizing duets with her students to foster comfort and camaraderie while demonstrating that mistakes are part of the learning process. Beyond her musical endeavors, Juliette has served as a first responder for several years, finding solace and strength in music during challenging times. Her dream is to cultivate this sense of resilience and joy in others, fostering a relaxed teaching environment where students feel empowered to be themselves and grow at their own pace. At Dupré Academy of Music, Juliette looks forward to sharing her love for music and guiding students on their musical journeys with compassion and authenticity.
