Brittani Mitchell, a classically trained oboist with over 30 years of experience, brings her passion for music education to Dupré Academy of Music. With 26 years of teaching young musicians under her belt, Brittani's journey began as a member of prestigious orchestras and music camps, studying under renowned mentors including John Mack and Yvonne Peterson. Her diverse background encompasses classical, marching band, jazz, chamber ensembles, worship, and pop music. As a dedicated instructor, Brittani tailors her teaching approach to individual needs, setting personalized goals with students and parents to nurture their musical aspirations. Her philosophy emphasizes student feedback and engagement, fostering a lifelong love for music through challenging yet enjoyable lessons.
