Colorado All State Choir Audition Training

This is an online class for high school students who want all the tools they need to excel in their All State choir auditions. When I was in high school, I auditioned and made it in both years, and I know what is needed to increase your chance of making it in. All State was the experience that confirmed that I needed to go into music as my career. I want to give as many students as possible the opportunity to experience such a breathtaking time!

Each student will receive one free 30-minute one-on-one voice lesson in addition to the class. You will receive the link to sign up for a lesson at the first class session. Please ensure you have already learned the basics of your prepared solo prior to the one-on-one lesson. If you would like additional one-on-one support, feel free to sign up for regular private voice lessons!

What you need:

  1. We will be using sight-reading selections from the exercises found at this website. Please have the website accessible during each class.

  2. An aria or art song of your choice. I will give a list of suggestions that the judges at the audition would approve. Original scores are required for judges to use.
